

Mercedes’s Finnish driver, Valtteri Bottas is a fitness freak no matter the weather condition as since in a recent post that has been seen in social media, as the former Williams driver is doing his runs at -22 Celsius degrees in the Northern Lapland.

Bottas training regime
Bottas is a different breed of F1 drivers, unlike other drivers who take time off after the season is done, Bottas pushes himself just not do be fit but also take part in other motorsport events.

The Finnish man is one of the few drivers on the grid who takes his training regime seriously and often does takes part in winter competitions such as recent rally completion that helps him improve his ability on the F1 track.
In an interview with Men’s Fitness, He said, “I love to train, I run and cycle a lot which is a basic cardio exercise. In the gym, we usually focus on more sport-specific training.”
“I often train wearing a race helmet and doing drills that work the neck muscles,”

He concluded, “In order to maximize the effectiveness of my workouts, “I need to analyse my workout results.
”My parents gave me a Polar watch over ten years ago as a gift to help me improve my training and performance, and I’ve never looked back.””
“Before the season starts, I try to push my training further by hiking and cycling my way through Finnish and French terrain.”

Bottas finished runner up in the driver’s championship with 223 points last season behind his teammate, Lewis Hamiton, having signed a contract till 2021 with the Silver Arrows he sure to give everyone on the grid a tough competition as fans wait till the 28th of March for the start of the Bahrain Grand Prix.
