Earlier this week, one piece of news dominated the global headlines. As it turned out, a 400m-long container ship got stuck in the Suez Canal and practically became a sea block. This was a massive problem because the Suez Canal is one of the busiest sea-trade routes. Fortunately, the ship has finally been moved successfully and business has resumed. In light of news that the ship was stuck, the Mercedes F1 team created a meme where their car was helping out in righting the ship.
All joking aside, the team was very happy that the crisis had been averted. The team has been quick off the blocks straight away, with a win at Bahrain. Admittedly, Red Bull held the advantage for most of the weekend. That was until Verstappen went off track during the race while attempting to overtake Hamilton for the lead.

Now, the team is looking forward to the next race of the season. This year, the drivers head to European shores early, with the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. The Emilia Romagna GP takes place at the Imola circuit in San Marino. Last year’s race is the first time the track returned to the calendar since 2006.

Will Mercedes run away with the championship again?
To be frank, it looks like the German giants are headed in that direction. At the same time, Lewis Hamilton has jumped off the starting blocks, right off the bat. Obviously, he is quite serious about breaking the record for the most Formula One titles. However, the likes of Red Bull and Max Verstappen will definitely keep him on his toes during the season.
Even his teammate, Valtteri Bottas is no slouch either, though he got unlucky at Bahrain. Regardless, it is advantage Lewis Hamilton in the build-up to the San Marino race. However, he has to watch his back, as Verstappen, Bottas and other drivers could pose a threat.
