WRC – Breaking news – Tänak/Järveoja claim Rally Italia Sardegna win!

Ott Tänak and Martin Järveoja rounded off a dominant performance at Rally Italia Sardegna to bring Hyundai Motorsport its first FIA World Rally Championship victory of the season.
Tänak, driving a hybrid-powered Hyundai i20 N Rally1, grabbed the lead early on Saturday after Esapekka Lappi crashed out. He remained unchallenged from that moment on and brought the car home to secure his first win since Arctic Rally Finland Powered in February 2021.
M-Sport Ford driver Craig Breen and Paul Nagle were second in a M-Sport Ford Puma Rally1, while Tänak’s team-mates Dani Sordo and Candido Carrera completed the leading trio.
Nicolay Gryazin and Konstantin Aleksandrov take the FIA WRC2 honours – their first win of the year!
