Kamui Kobayashi topped the session in this #7 Toyota Gazzoo Racing entry, having set his fastest lap of 2m08.702s on a drying track.  

Second in Hypercar was the #2 Cadillac V-Series.R entry driven by Earl Bamber, who lapped 0.7s off Kobayashi’s best.

Third overall was the best of the LMP2 competitors, local outfit Team WRT with its #31 Oreca – Gibson driven by Ferdinand Habsburg.

Hypercar class newcomer, Hertz Team Jota with its brand-new Porsche 963 went third overall and third-fastest in the top class, with Will Stevens setting his best lap of 2:10.434.

Fifth overall was second of the LMP2 cars, Vector Sport’s sole entry in the hands of Gabriel Aubry.

A lap of 2:11.732 gave Filipe Albuquerque third time in the LMP2 class aboard his #22 United Autosports entry.

Local ace Alessio Picariello, in the #60 Iron Lynx Porsche, came out on top in the LMGTE Am class, owing to a 2m28.387s lap.

D’Station Aston Martin placed second in class as Casper Stevenson set 2m29.588s. 

Richard Mille AF Corse Ferrari 488 GTE Evo placed third-best with Alessio Rovera behind the wheel of the #83 entry.

The qualifying session for the TotalEnergies 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps is due to start at 17:00 local time.
