The Bahrain Motor Federation (BMF) has successfully concluded its tenth annual Summer Camp, held from 1 to 30 August at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC). The initiative welcomed over 120 children aged 8 to 14, offering a month-long programme focused on motor sport education, safety awareness and personal development.
Participants engaged in a diverse curriculum combining classroom sessions, technical workshops and hands-on training in areas such as road safety, first aid, CPR, firefighting, marshaling, scrutineering, and event logistics. The programme also included visits to karting circuits, 4×4 experiences and local motor sport facilities, providing a comprehensive introduction to Bahrain’s motor sport ecosystem.
Supported by BIC, Bell Helmets Factory, Civil Defence and a dedicated team of volunteers, the camp reflected BMF’s broader mission to empower young people and promote sustainable motor sport culture.
HE Shaikh Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa, BMF President and FIA Vice President for Sport (MENA), said:
“This camp is about more than motor sport, it is about preparing our youth to be responsible, disciplined, and engaged citizens. We are proud to see the positive impact it continues to make on young people and their families.”
The success of the 2025 edition was further highlighted by the return of a former participant from the 2015 camp, who this year joined as a supervisor and marshal, showcasing the camp’s sustainable legacy and lasting influence.
